Wasting Love is the third single from the Fear Of The Dark album. It wasn't released in the UK or in Europe (except in the Netherlands) and does not appear in the Best Of The Beast discography. It seems therefore to be a rather rare item. The cover picture is taken from the video and is a close-up of a man getting a tattoo that reads "SALLY". The video shows this man who gets a tatoo for each of his new feminine conquest who subsequently abandon him, leaving him with a body full of tatooed names, but utterly alone and desperate. I don't pretend to know the full meaning of the picture, but it might be exposing the inherent irony in comparing the fleetingness of love with the permanence of a love-inspired tattoo.
