After the string quartet and the piano tributes to Iron Maiden, here is the orchestral tribute. Whoever this Hand Of Doom Orchestra is, the job is rather well done.
Instead of covering various Maiden classics, they concentrated on one classic album – namely Piece Of Mind – with various degree of success, as was to be expected with this kind of tribute. "Where Eagles Dare" and "To Tame A Land" sound fantastic, but other songs, like "Die With Your Boots On" or "The Trooper" suffer from the lack of metallic aggression. Nevertheless, this is a rather good album that's recommended to all Maiden and classical fans.
