This is the sequel to The Number One Beast Iron Maiden tribute album, with the same singers giving us renditions of Maiden songs that didn't feature on the first volume. The advantages and inconvenients remain the same as on the first album, and I suggest you go read my review of it to get a clearer idea.

DOOGIE WHITE – Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter (Dickinson)

This is a decent cover of "Bring Your Daughter..." without Bruce Dickinson's original raspy voice. Probably what Whitesnake would have made of it.

PAUL DI'ANNO – Murders In The Rue Morgue (Harris)

Even more aggressive than the original, this cover of "Murders In The Rue Morgue" is great. Paul's vocals are simply perfect for it.

STEVE GRIMMETT – Aces High (Harris)

Steve Grimmett does a pretty good job on this version of "Aces High". Fast and furious as it should be.

STEVE OVERLAND – Flight Of Icarus (Smith, Dickinson)

The voice is so cheesy it drips like molten raclette. Not the best cover on this album, by far.

STEVE GRIMMETT – Wasted Years (Smith)

Yet another good cover by Steve Grimmett, although a bit more aggression in the voice wouldn't have gone amiss.

PAUL DI'ANNO – Remember Tomorrow (Harris, Di'Anno)

This cover of "Remember Tomorrow" contains more emotion in Paul Di'Anno's voice than the original itself. Simply great!

DOOGIE WHITE – The Clairvoyant (Harris)

It's with a song like this that we realise that Doogie White would have been a perfect Dickinson II for Maiden. Almost perfect vocal rendition. Good thing Steve chose Blaze and his different singing range!

STEVE OVERLAND – The Prisoner (Smith, Harris)

Steve Overland may be a great singer, but his style simply does not fit to Iron Maiden songs at all. Whitesnake maybe?

PAUL DI'ANNO – Sanctuary (Harris, Di'Anno, Murray)

Once again, a Di'Anno-era Maiden song sung by Paul Di'Anno himself more aggressively than the original version. Simply brilliant.

STEVE GRIMMETT – Powerslave (Dickinson)

Excellent rendition of one of Iron Maiden's best songs. Steve Grimmett does here once again a really good job.

PAUL DI'ANNO – Killers (Di'Anno, Harris)

Fast and aggressive. Paul's voice is once again pefect for this "cover".

BERNIE SHAW – Fear Of The Dark (Harris)

Uriah Heep's Bernie Shaw offers us a really good version of "Fear Of The Dark", with a voice that fits quite nicely to the song.
